Solid Impingement Erosion
Solid Impingement
Solid Particle Impingement is a form of erosion produced by a continuing succession of impacts from solid particles on a surface. The impacting particles are smaller than the solid subjected to the erosion, and if all the impacts are superimposed on the same spot, the term repeated impact is used.
