Slurry Erosion
Slurry Erosion
Slurry erosion is progressive loss of material from a solid surface by the action of a mixture of solid particles in a liquid (slurry) in motion with respect to the solid surface. If the solid surface is capable of corroding in the fluid portion of the slurry, the slurry erosion will contain a corrosive component.
